T-Mobile Shadow Basic Specs E-mail

The wait is over! After all that time of waiting and endless speculation - The T-Mobile Shadow is finally here. Released on its set date of October 31, 2007; the phone was ‘supposedly’ named ‘Shadow’ because of the date. This phone marks T-mobile’s latest addition to the phone world.

The T-Mobile Shadow comes in only two colors: Green and Brown. It disappointed a few people that it did not come in basic black, but green and brown seem classy enough. It sports a 20-key slide out keypad with a QWERTY configuration arranged with two characters per key, similar to other phones like the SureType in Blackberry phones and a few new generation Sony Ericsson phones like the M600 and P1.

The new phone tips the scales at 5.3 ounces and its dimensions are 2.1 x 4.1 x 0.6 inches, it is smaller but a little heavier than the T-Mobile Blackberry 8700g. The battery for the T-Mobile Shadow is 920 mAh Lion. It affords the user up to 5 hours of talk time and up to six days on Standby. The battery and a charger are included with the phone’s package together with a Hands-Free Headset.  Band (Frequency) available to the phone are as follows: 850 MHz; 900 MHz; 1800 MHz; and 1900 MHz.

One of the features of the T-Mobile Sidekick is its Text Messaging capacity – which is available with an additional subscription. AOL®, Yahoo!®, MSN®, and ICQ® Instant Messenger are also available with the phone. This phone also appeals to your fun side it has a 2.0 megapixel camera for capturing special moments and a Music player for your favorite tunes.

You can access your email with the use of the T-Mobile Shadow with its Quad-band world phone capability.  It easily synchs with your Microsoft Office Outlook on your laptop or PC. Other features available to the T-Mobile Shadow phone include a Voice activated dialing to make accessing you contacts from your phonebook so much easier.

This phone has a Micro SD memory Slot for extra memory storage as well as a high speed internet connection. It has a calendar, an alarm clock, and a Windows® Mobile program. Suggested retail price for the T-Mobile Shadow is $349.99, but it has a limited time discount offer of $150.00 as well as a Mail-in Rebate of $50.00, decreasing the total retail price to a low $149.99.

There it is! All the basics that you need to know about the T-Mobile Shadow, but nothing beats the real thing. So go out and get for yourself the new T-Mobile phone. With the hype it’s been getting, there is no doubt that this new phone will be as popular as its T-Mobile Predecessors, the Sidekick and the Blackberry.
