With the release of the T-Mobile Shadow, consumers are asking: Why this line does not have the basic black color? Fact is, giving two colors to the shadow may be T-Mobile’s way of attracting a new demographic! The new phone appeals to the taste of young professionals who have outgrown their cell phones but are still not ready for a full fledge smart phone.

The T-Mobile Shadow weighs a little over five ounces and is 2.1 inches wide, 4.1 inches long and is 0.6 inches deep and has a 2.6 inch, 320 by 240 color screen. It has a slide out keypad that has a QWERTY configuration with 2 characters per key. The slide out feature takes some time to get started but slides out smoothly.
The external features are customized to the two colors and they are as follows:
T-Mobile Shadow Copper Brown – Critics tell you that brown is the last season in the fashion world, but not for the T-Mobile Shadow. This T-Mobile Shadow has a sparkly brown and black face, a color scheme dark enough for those who are still apprehensive about diving into color. It has a soft touch backing that allows the user to have a firm hold on the phone. The QWERTY keypad for this T-Mobile shadow has a dark gray and cream color scheme.
T-Mobile Shadow Sage Green – Will this T-Mobile’s appeal to female customers? Maybe, but then it wholly depends on a persons taste. Although it has been said that the T-Mobiles’ sage green color is a tad feminine, we say – it appeals to everybody and every gender. The green shade is not as heavy as one might expect. The phone’s front has a silver and champagne color scheme – totally different from the dark hues of its copper brown counterpart. Like the brown one, this phone sports a soft touch back for an easy grip.
Whether you have outgrown your cell phone, but you’re still not ready to jump in and use those stuffy looking smart phones or you just want an alternative to your current smart phone – then the T-Mobile Shadow is the one for you. Its physical features and shades give this T-Mobile phone a hip look. Looking at it you wouldn’t know that it plays host to the Windows Mobile ® 6. The T-Mobile shadow is a phone worth looking in to and since the shadow is marketed as a brand of its own, like the way the sidekick is – we can look forward to newer versions of this phone.
